The Quadruple Jump Glitch in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (Nintendo DS) - A Wild Glitch Appears!
There is a comically easy glitch in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin for the Nintendo DS that allows you to gain extra jumps in mid-air. Combined with the Stone of Flight, you will be able to jump FOUR times, which is just as useful as you might think.
This glitch also works on the Castlevania Dominus Collection version of Portrait of Ruin.
First, make sure you've got both Johnathan and Charlotte on screen. Tap the screen with your stylus (or click using the cursor if you're on the Dominus Collection) above your partner to get them to jump.
At the height of your partner's jump, press X to switch to that character, then IMMEDIATELY JUMP. You will be able to double jump even without the Stone of Flight!
But if you DO have the Stone of Flight, you can basically do the exact same glitch. Tap above your partner and wait for them to jump twice. Then, hit X to switch at the height of your partner's double jump. IMMEDIATELY jump twice after switching, and you will be able to quadruple jump!
This trick is incredible for speedrunning and sequence breaking, not to mention it's fun to mess around with.
