7,269Bill Cosby was a cultural icon known for his role as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on the Cosby show. Over time he became known as America’s dad due to his homespun wisdom and focus on family values. Beyond the Cosby show, He also created the Fat Albert Show, was widely considered one of the best stand up comedians of all time, and inspired several generations of black entertainers. He was particularly well liked for his trademark clean comedy and refusal to degrade black culture. However, his long and illustrious career took a shocking turn in 2014 when he was accused of sexually ass*ulting 60 different women. Cosby himself even admitted to drugg*ng girls with Queledes and having casual s*x. As a result he was convicted in 2018 and sent to prison. Three years later in 2021 though, the supreme court of Pennsylvania overturned his conviction due to a violation of his due process rights. This is the rise and fall of Bill Cosby.
