Chapter 3 begins with Ava learning about the ISA's theory to replace human space missions with machine guided missions. But as Ava mentions, drones have already been a part of manned space missions for quite some time.
The Power Box Delivery System is introduced as a way to dispense and regenerate power boxes if needed.
So why can't artificial intelligence use creativity to solve the test chambers? And by Ava solving the puzzles herself, is the A.I. learning from her as she goes along?
The test chambers get brighter as we solve a puzzle in a room full of light bridges. Magnets and laser beams also return to the mix in some pretty creative puzzles. A series of platforms must be raised and aligned in order to complete one of the rooms.
In addition to the blue power balls, we are now introduced to green power balls. The green balls seem to short circuit whichever electronic device they are applied to. That could prove to be useful. Using the right combination of blue and green power balls will lead to a successful test.
Entering another restricted area unlocks the achievement for The Universe's Machine Epsilon. In it, I appear to be a robot solving a somewhat simple puzzle. The achievement also appears to be a nod to the game Pneuma.
In audio logs, T.O.M. becomes increasingly "concerned" for Mikhail. But could it be that T.O.M. is more suspicious than concerned?
Join me as I walkthrough these puzzles for the first time and guide Ava along the path in search for answers. The Turing Test video game smartly takes it name and inspiration from the real life Turing tests, developed by Alan Turing.
