In the first chapter of Episode 2 ('Starved For Help'), we find our little group of refugees in dire straits, nearly starved out inside their fortified motel stronghold. The situation does not exactly lighten up when the group runs into three new people, though only one of these, a ditzy student named Ben, manages to survive in the end. A new hope is kindled, though, when the group is discovered by two farmer brothers from a nearby dairy farm - and invited to share in their fortunes, though Lee, the ever cautious member of the group, voices some suspicions before submitting to the group decision to take the brothers up on their invitation.
