Geralt’s journey took him deep into the war-torn swamps of Velen, following the elusive trail of Ciri a search driven not by duty, but by unwavering devotion. Only those who’ve set foot in this cursed land understand how bleak and vile it truly is.

After a hard-fought battle, Geralt defeated the specter and, with the deacon’s help, brought peace to Reinald’s tormented soul. One more ghost laid to rest… and another step closer to finding Ciri.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Polish: Wiedźmin 2: Zabójcy Królów) is a 2011 action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red, based on Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy novels. As a sequel to the 2007 game The Witcher, it continues the saga of Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a Witcher. Released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, OS X, and Linux, the game immerses players in a richly detailed world inspired by Polish history and Slavic mythology. By September 2014, it had sold over 8 million copies, cementing its status as both a critical and commercial success. The series' acclaim continued with the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in May 2015.
