In one village, he stumbled upon peasants preparing to execute a Nilfgaardian deserter. Forced to choose between mob justice or saving a life, Geralt sided with the deserter only to face the wrath of the entire village, forced to kill many to save one.
In Blackbough, a missing-person notice led him to Niellen, a hunter searching for his wife. But the investigation uncovered a darker tale: Niellen was a werewolf. In a tragic twist, he had unknowingly slaughtered his own wife during a cursed transformation, a tragedy set in motion by her jealous sister.
Near Honorton, Geralt uncovered a massacre not caused by monsters, but by one of his own kind a rogue witcher from the School of the Cat. Geralt confronted the killer, took down his fellow witcher, and ensured the only surviving child of the village was delivered safely to her kin.
Finally, in Byways, Geralt took on a contract to investigate a missing Nilfgaardian patrol. The culprit? Not bandits, but a deadly ekimmara, awakened by treasure hunters disturbing an ancient elven ruin. Tracking the vampire to its lair, Geralt once again proved that no beast, human or otherwise, escapes a witcher’s blade.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the groundbreaking installment in CD PROJEKT RED’s acclaimed series following the legendary witcher, Geralt of Rivia.
