It's time people stopped playing Vents on Split. Or at least stopped playing it as frequently. The middle of split is very difficult to defend against the offense after all the mid changes, and you've started to notice many pro teams playing further back for their defense, rather than fighting over control of the middle. Particularly this is difficult to defend from Rope room, and that's why you'll see many teams give it up, and rather play with a trip wire or one player watching it to make sure no one pushes through instead of allocating resources to defending it. In this game of Team Liquid vs G2, we break down plays from Scream, Ec1s, Mixwell, Patitek, and Aardis and talk about how these pros opt to play the middle of split.
