You know how people say that gaming hasn’t gotten that much better since the Xbox 360 and PS3? I’ve never thought that was true. But, recently, my wife and I played a game that made me think that maybe those people have a point.

I swear, if I didn’t know better, and you told me that this game was released this year, I’d have no problem believing you.

But get ready to feel old, because LittleBigPlanet came out in 2008. That was 15 years ago. Yet, to me, the graphics and art style are still impressive. Maybe my brain has been warped by playing too many games on Switch, but I just don’t see anything in this game that screams “2008”.

Literally, the only thing that feels dated about this game is that it’s stuck on PS3, which means you have to use a Sixaxis or DualShock 3 controller, and they have NOT aged well.

I haven’t even mentioned the gameplay, but that’s also fantastic. We played it in co-op, and it was so much fun. In fact, we highly recommend any of the LittleBigPlanet games.
