I need your help with something.
My wife and I recently played through Resident Revelations 2. And I just can't get over the weird way that this game was marketed and released.
This was back in 2015, and Capcom treated this game like it was a TV show. They separated it into four “episodes”, and released one episode per week for a month like it was a miniseries or something.
Only after all four episodes were out, they released a full version of the game at retail.
I just love how weird and unique this is, and it's made me super curious.
Do you know of any other games that tried this TV show-style release tactic? I can’t find any info on it, but if they’re out there, I want to play them, so let me know!
