Nature has given us four points of contact. Prevent falls! Always use three points of contact when entering or exiting a vehicle, including trucks and forklifts.
Always use three points of contact when climbing or descending a ladder.
Three points of contact means that 3 out of 4 points of contact (your hands and feet) are in contact at all times during mount or dismount.
Always face the vehicle, machinery or ladder during mount or dismount. Clean your shoes and hands before climbing on.
Use handrails, ladders or steps as provided when mounting a platform or vehicle.
