Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta [Gameplay #2]
The second large area available in the Wildlands open beta is dominated by vast snowy plains, and thus feels dramatically different from the dense jungle in which the game starts. It also features much more challenging missions, with sprawling enemy bases and nasty defensive capabilities like anti-air and mortars. Playing on the Advanced difficulty setting (with AI-controlled buddies and in broad daylight) I found it quite tricky to infiltrate these military installations without getting quickly overrun, despite dealing with snipers and patrols before finally sneaking in. I'm not sure this is my idea of fun (especially in the long run), but at least it was nice to discover that the developers seem to have hewed closer to the tactical roots of Ghost Recon than I expected them to.
