Before Third Echelon can drop him into the field, Sam Fisher must prove his
worth to them by completing the course at the CIA training farm.
From this video, you can see some differences from the final:
- A unique boot video featuring the Ubi Soft and Bink Video logo.
- Slightly different menu interface and navigation.
- A prologue video of a group of Georgians invaded Azerbaijan, which was removed in the final. Best suited for the level Defense Ministry as well.
- OpStat database highlights names instead of dates in the final.
- The window of the observation room is open instead of close in the final. Probably due to optimization issues.
- Sam will drop himself out of the platform from the zip-line in this prototype as there's no wooden fence that will prevent him from doing so.
- Lock-picking models were positioned slightly above in the prototype.
- Retinal scanner description shows the name "Kombayn Nicoladze" instead of "Known Colonel". Note the typo on Nikoladze's name.
- Unique gesture animations between Fisher, Lambert and Wilkes during cutscenes that are not used in the final.
This prototype was played through Xemu, so visual and performance issues do occur here. Played for documentation even though trying to be stealthy.
