Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Walkthrough Part 10: Chinese Embassy Part 2
0After rescuing Nikoladze's prisoners in Mouke Tsoe Bo Meats and killing Grinko, Sam is sent back to the Chinese embassy in Yangon in order to find out the true nature of Nikoladze's and Feirong's co-operation and to stop Feirong from destroying the evidence of Chinese innocence in Georgian information crisis. After making his way into the embassy, Sam is sidetracked as he finds the trucks of Americium 239 from Kola Peninsula about to depart the embassy, prompting him to destroy them before moving onto Feirong who, aware that Nikoladze's support network has started to rapidly collapse and that Nikoladze himself has broken off their partnership in order to save his own life, has decided to commit suicide in order to prevent the Chinese authorities from capturing him alive. Rushing into the ambassador's office, Sam confronts drunken Feirong who, despite his drunkedness, and rapidly approaching death as the liquor he is drinking has been deliberately laced with poison, recognizes Sam as an American operative. After a brief confrontation, during which Sam quickly gains upper hand due to Feirong's inebriated state, Sam forces Feirong to download the proof of Chinese innocence from his computer so that it could be presented to the Americans and finally end the tensions with Chinese with Feirong doing so moments before finally succumbing to the poison in his system. With his mission completed, Sam evacuates the embassy building as it is destroyed in a fire and evacuates via the helicopter.
Following the conclusion of mission in Myanmar and Feirong's suicide, United States and People's Republic of China re-establish dipolmatic ties as threat of war is averted. Afterwards, Third Echelon turns its attention back to Nikoladze, who has returned to Georgia in order to retrieve the key for the mysterious weapon known as "The Ark" which is apparently hidden somewhere within Georgian Presidential Palace in Tbilisi. Aware of the fact that Nikoladze, who was left with very few men and resources after being ousted from power in Georgia and after Vyacheslav Grinko's death, is risking his own life to return to Georgia, which fell under the rule of the presidential cabinet led by a CIA-backed politician named Varlam Cristavi, Third Echelon sends Sam to track Nikoladze down and infiltrate the presidential palace in order to find The Ark and retrieve it, believing it to be a key of Nikoladze's plan...
