After uncovering the existence of Georgian moles in Kalinatek, Sam is sent to infiltrate the company's offices in Langley, Virginia in order to find one of them and use their data encryption keys to track down Kombayn Nikoladze, who has become an international fugitive following the information attacks in the United States. However, as he arrives to the building, Sam discovers that Grinko's mercenaries have been deployed there in order to kill all Georgian and Russian technicians who have worked for Georgian government and take their encryption keys in order to prevent Third Echelon from learning Nikoladze's location. Aware that a technician named Ivan has survived the massacre in the building, Sam is given the orders to find him and take his encryption key, a mission which he is able to accomplish despite large number of heavily armed mercenaries and traps left within the building.

After exfiltrating, Sam is sent to Kola Peninsula in Northern Russia in order to track down Nikoladze's signal relay used to communicate with his troops. However, despite the analysis of the encryption key taken from Kalinatek offices revealing that the relay is located somewhere within the area, jamming from the local nuclear power plant makes it necessary for Sam to confirm the relay's location personally by infiltrating the plant itself...
