Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Walkthrough Part 4: Oil Rafinery
As NATO forces intervene in Azerbaijan, most of Georgian troops stationed within the country are wiped out, save for some cells which continue to communicate with Georgian government via secure network. Having managed to track some of those soldiers down to an oil rig in the Caspian Sea, Third Echelon sends Sam there to retrieve the data as it is being transmitted in order to help them learn the units' positions in Azerbaijan, tasking him to do so by retrieving the network access codes off one of Georgian computer technicians set to arrive to the oil rig. However, Sam's infiltration gets significantly more complicated as United States' Air Force launches an attack on the oil rig, forcing him to chase the technician down as he tries to escape. After capturing and interrogating him at gunpoint, Sam learns that the information he was supposed to send over to Georgia concerned something known as "Ark". Afterwards, he proceeds to collect the technician's laptop containing the network access codes and escape before the rig is destroyed.
Later, as he returns from Georgia with his collegues, Vernon Wilkes Jr. and Anna Grimsdottir, Sam's transport helicopter nearly crashes over the Atlantic Ocean after its electronics suddenly and inexplicably fail. However, as the aircraft's functions are restored, Sam is contacted by Lambert who tells him that Kombayn Nikoladze has just announced war to the United States, revealing himself to have been responsible for what is revealed to have been a wide-reaching electronic attack that disrupted military and civilian electronics throughout the United States Of America, causing dozens of deaths and injuries all over the country. As it becomes obvious that Georgians likely have a mole within United States, Sam's next mission takes him to Langley, Virginia with the task of infiltrating Central Intelligence Agency's headquarters and finding the Georgian mole...
