Disclosure: This was the open beta for The Division 2 via the Epic Store. I have not pre-ordered nor do I plan too.
Surprised to see how well this game was running during my time playing it, but I am still having an issue with the absolute bullet sponge state of the enemies similar to the first game. This is merely to show the open beta and I have no verdict for the game right now. Looks beautiful, but there are plenty of texture glitches (had a deer model stretch and move to no end), sound disappearing during shooting, and even falling through the earth a few times. It is rather dull with a lot of open space (solo except in hubs and when you matchmake/answer player's requests for assistance) and the PvP works similarly to 1 with the Dark Zone returning. Plenty of new grinding activities in the form of resupplies and settlement upgrades, but overall feels like the Division 1 in terms of combat.
