Touhou 16: Hidden Star in Four Seasons - Reimu+Summer Lunatic 1cc
3This one's a bit older, actually. The replay is from last August, which makes it my first ever Windows-era Touhou Lunatic 1cc (not counting my PoFV 1cc with Aya, which was basically cheating, anyway). I just thought I might as well upload it while I'm 1cc-ing the other games.
Anyway, HSiFS... it's pretty much modern Touhou in a nutshell: abusable gameplay mechanics and enough extra lives to max out your lives gauge twice over, so it really was no wonder I was able to actually Lunatic-1cc this. When you get this many lives in one run, you can die a lot of stupid deaths and still have a realistic shot at clearing the game without continues. Doesn't mean I didn't have one hell of a pop-off, though. (That said, said pop-off was nowhere near as big as when I 1cc'd EoSD earlier.)
Everyone seems to agree that Autumn is the best sub-season, but honestly, I swear by Summer. It's spammable, so you can just unload it in the boss's face every time she starts shooting and then still have enough uses left over for defensive purposes. Meanwhile, Autumn always fucks me over because I keep overestimating the invulnerability period, leading to stupid deaths. On the other hand, Winter probably has the easiest Okina final, so... don't use Spring? Like, ever?
