Oh my God.
The choice you can make relating to where each character goes only changes a few cutscenes at the start of the game.
For the Battery Pack, you have to examine the hole in the wall in order to be able to pick it up in the storeroom. It’s also necessary to loop around the floor for it as there is a one-way door preventing you from taking the direct route.
For the endings, it’s based on how quickly you get to the final boss after Rachel gives birth to a power core. Some guides and websites say you have 10 minutes but I can't confirm this. I just disabled the frame limiter and took a shower when going for the bad ending.
As for the second boss that is supposed to be there, I don’t know how that’s triggered.
