This is another early 90’s JRPG, so there is heavy emphasis on random encounters, which are included in the video because it is the experience one has when playing this game and is required to get through it.

Notes
The treasures during the intro sequence are pointless, so I don’t loot them.
Obtaining the ruby requires you to speak with the old lady in the basement at Jenoba and then go to the Medan Mines. Finding the broken ruby and speaking to the jeweler in Ruan does not appear to be required.
The Luck Sword has a ridiculous amount of attack power but it’s cursed and misses very frequently.
Going to the Tower of Light before the story directs you to allows you to loot the unique Might Helm.
