The TurboGrafx-16 mini console was announced not too long ago, so I thought it would be fun to see what you got when you bought the original console back in 1989! Originally intended to be a competitor with the Nintendo Entertainment System, NEC brought the TG16 over to North America just a little bit too late, and the NES along with the Sega Genesis crushed it as a result.

While it suffered a terrible fate at the time, these days the TurboGrafx-16 is thought of fondly by those who have played it, and is actually home to some really incredible games! Add the CD-ROM addon into the mix and you'll really find some gems to play, especially if you like RPGs and arcade shooters.

So get ready to take a trip back to the totally radical past as we kick things into nirto and turbo-charge our way to seeing just what's inside and on the outside of the TurboGrafx-16's box!
