Unfair is a competitive tableau building card game where players take on the role of amusement park entrepreneurs as they build attractions, build upgrades, hire staff, play event cards and fulfil blueprint requirements in order the gain the most victory points possible.
Fans of the 90's PC game Roller Coaster Tycoon and Planet Coaster will immediately be drawn to the Mr Cuddington style art that makes players feel like they are operating their very own funfair with its own challenges and competitors.
A typical game operates over the course of 8 rounds. In the first half of the game, players will face 4 funfair city card events which usually benefits all players in some ways. In the last half of the game, players will need to defend themselves against a series of unfair city events that can seek to ruin the theme park that you have made.
The game engages players in a take that style game play with the use of event cards on other players.
Unfair is ultimately a game that is both casual and fun where it excels is in its card synergy in games like Magic The Gathering and in its smooth gameplay.
The Board Game Sanctuary is a family friendly board game channel that aims to introduce the board gaming hobby to new and seasoned players in a light, fun and humourous way.
