SDM match in Leadworks using only the wristblade and medicomp as the only predator against 6 other players. I've never seen a video through the perspective of a predator who only used the wristblade during the course of a match, so I decided to make one myself. Obvious disclaimer: I'm not the best predator by a long shot (any skilled player will tell you that), but for whatever it's worth, I thought some newcomers might find this video helpful.

I also wanted to somewhat challenge the notion that the wristblade is simply a risky, impractical, unreliable weapon that only gets used when players want a thrill and otherwise serves little practical purpose. The wristblade is indeed tough to get kills with! However, it can be reliable in certain maps and I think that even though it's hard to get kills with, it's underrated and can be used effectively. In fact, since it isn't dependent on any resources, can never be banned, and can insta-kill two species, one could make the argument that it's the best weapon to train. Again, I'm not the best blade user and in a one on one against even an alien I would probably be crushed. But it's interesting how it seems to be effective in a match with multiple enemies. Better players than myself could potentially dominate a match like this with the blade.

Another major thing that I wanted to show was that being an effective player comes down to much more than just firing at the right time. Map knowledge, resource management, maneuverability, and quick situation assessment are essential. I think this match demonstrates this quite well.

This match was played without mods.
