This is another segment that I make look way easier than it actually is. 1:22 This Lich Lord casts Radial Surge level 3, which I can barely survive with my best defenses set up. Unfortunately he also knows Curse (which costs 17 MP to counter and removes my Enlighten) and Drain Mind (which will empty all of my MP). He will win this battle more often than not.

It's important to keep the two skeletons alive. They will consume turns and allow the Lich Lord to remain idle, giving you a much higher chance for success, as you can see happens here.

This is a fairly fortunate run, although not entirely ideal. It's actually better if the Lich Lord casts Radial Surge on his first turn instead of Curse. That only costs me 10MP to counter and would mean my Enlighten was still up, potentially allowing me to take another Radial Surge. On the other hand, the fact that he never casts Radial Surge at all is arguably as good as it gets.
