I love this segment. This is basically worst case scenario for a daeva. I didn't think I could win under these conditions.

Not only does Ifrit spam his most powerful spell--which takes me two heals to counter each time he casts it--but Ashley misses twice and never criticals, even though my hit% here is very respectable.

I kill Ifrit right before he gets off the turn that could have ended my run (i.e. reduced me below MAX-250HP) but the thing is, even if Ashley had missed one more time my chances of winning were decent. If Ifrit had used his fifth turn to cast anything other than Flame Sphere a fourth time I would have survived. Since I was out of MP anyway, I would have had a full round of attacks to sink in that last hit. This shows how effective this daeva strategy is even under bad RNG.

I could have proceeded to kill the Iron Crab, and seriously considered it. However I needed to wait for Ashley's MP to refill anyway and I really didn't want to risk losing this fight because of a bad stat wheel roll, so instead I just backtracked to the save.
