I was reduced to this. I just wanted to see the endings. I was DONE with playing this game normally. And I hate that. I genuinely hate that. I go on a rather rambly rant at the end as to WHY I hate what they've done with these games, and what they COULD have been. What they should be. Things Capcom has shown us in the past, what we know they can do. We've seen them do this style, with Capcom vs SNK 2 on PS2. Or even with the final version of Ultra Street Fighter IV. We know they can make definitive versions of games, and they just don't seem to want to. And it saddens me deeply.

I'm not going to do a breakdown of each of the characters I played as here, because I didn't spend as much time with them. John Talbain is my stand out character here though, and I don't think it's the first time. I really enjoyed playing him, and I liked his story. The characters just seem incredibly inconsistent in this game. I believe they really were designed independent of each other and then tried to be shoved together, which is a miracle it works as well as it does. It's like a AAA Mugen game. But it could have been so much more. This is JUST the arcade version, and that will always be sub par in gameplay because it exists to steal your money.
