Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire (via Capcom Fighting Collection) playthrough Part FAILIRE (2.5)
I'm pulling the plug on this one. Again. I hate having to do this to so many fighting games, but I simply cannot tolerate the frame perfect input reading cheating. You can't learn how to play a game like this. You aren't learning how to fight against other people. You're dealing with a machine designed to steal your lunch money and it will cheat to do it. And I just can't take getting angry at a cheating game all the time. You can see the attacks that perfectly counter mine coming out the exact same frame as my animation starts. You can see instances where my moves SHOULD hit, all the graphics says they hit, and yet I'm the one who takes the damage. I don't even care about the excuses. I don't want to hear it. I get that these are arcade games and they need to take in money quickly to be profitable. But it means the games are not worth playing. People criticize, and rightly so, modern games that make the game less fun to play in order to sell solutions via microtransactions. The tactics these old arcade games use is no different.
Tomorrow I will be swapping to Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium and turning on the cheat of my own. Because fuck this game.
Q. Bee: She was honestly a lot of fun to play as. If I were playing this game for real, I may try to learn her. But I don't plan on every touching the game again after all this. So it doesn't really matter. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
