Wacambria Island may not look like anything special when you first glance upon it, but this is a game that has had such obvious love and care put into every corner that it is instantly likable. Combat is pretty fun and engaging, with a simple combo but cut combat that feels really impactful. Great design of the opening area that the demo presents, and it makes me optimistic about what it'll be like journeying through the full game.
Graphically the game looks like a PSX game, but not the usual "PSX-Filter" style games we see today. Despite that, there is a lot of attention made to give detail to the environment and the enemies. I'm impressed, and if this had come out in the late 90s I'd of eagerly returned home to play this after school. Now, I'll eagerly wait until this is released to play.
