Hello, Hello, everybody. It's been some time since i've uploaded a FF7 video. And there's no better place to make a comback than in the gritty entertainment district of Wall Market. Funny thing is, i started this video over a year ago. I had plenty of footage lined up, and a good portion of the script written. This was while i was waiting for my new mic to arrive. I first used it on the Mario/Invert video, i believe. So i had that video to finish off first. That pushed my Mineral Town saga further than it was supposed to be. Then April 1st happened. And i was long overdue for the Re:Mind video. Anyway, thirteen months later i'm back on track. Sorta. I've still got 3 Main videos for this series to do, then a couple to cap it off. I'm hoping to have it all done before Part II is announced. I'm sure i've got time. Anyway, this video. I'm thinking this will be the longest one in the series. I mean, there's so much packed into this chapter. Much like the previous one, but this time with a whole different energy. This is the first FF7C video to feature not one, but two new mics. The lav mic i used in the intro/outro is brand new. I'm not sure how i feel about it yet. The quality is better than what i used to use (Camera's on-board microphone.) but it's not quite there yet. I probably just have to play around with the settings. I really need to learn how to do compression too. I always think i've got it down until the plug-in pops up. Oh well. That animation in the beginning is something i had planned for the longest time. I figured it would be simple. Just have a chocobo cart rush past. I don't know what could have happened, but rotoscoping in AE has been horrible on my last few attempts. I can sit for hours and do frame by frame, but when the program doesn't want to cooperate, it's almost unbearable. I mean having to redraw entire sections of the image on every single frame, EVEN THE ONES THAT LITTERALLY DON'T CHANGE. No movement between the two frames, but AE makes some up. Whatever, enough rambling. This export is taking forever. I've got a couple fun projects coming up for December. At least i hope they'll be fun, there's so much left to do.
