Welcome everybody! To Let's Play War for the Overworld: Heart of Gold Mission 2 – part 1!
Rhoad is one of the most difficult missions if you try to do it all out. As the Empire will constantly send more and more patrols to the path in Rhoad. Because of that Rhoad offers two possibilities to be done. One the silent approach which we already did, sneaking around. Digging our way slowly but steady. Avoiding enemy eyes and takeing whats ours before they could even notice our presence in Rhoad.
This time however we are doing full out. This time Rhoad will drown in blood of he Empire forces. We will focus first on the achievement Rhoadblock. To do that we need to act fast and hit the right targets. First we start out by finding some creatures to fight for our cause. Then we dig a tunnel to the Underworld Portal to summon more backup. As our workers work and dig and clime new territories in Mission 2. Support them by summoning a few more workers. We will need the following rooms. Beast den, Lair, Hatchery, Workshop, Sanctuary and Archive later as the missions progresses a prison would be also a good idea to hold in all the soon to arrive quests. In Rhoad the empire does not have a base they only have two points on the map from where the new patrols spawn and venture to the next one. Make a bridge to the first artifact sanctuary and clime it. Deal With The guards and activate it. It will trigger the possibility to expand our dungeon to the other sectors of RHoad. Now this is the most tricky part at the very beginning ot Mission two if You aim to do the achievements:
- When I Was a Young WartHoG achievement,
- Rhoadblock achievement,
- Nature’s Call achievement,
Drop a few workers on the dungeon core to get more mana limit. Then place Ember Rifts. And rally them next to Your dungeon on the path of the Empire forces. Support those demons with the bests from the den but also have in backup a few sentinels just in case but do not activate them unless needed as they will eat a lot of gold for payday! Now dig the mana shrine that is located west from the Dungeon Core. From here to the Hero Path in Rhoad. There should be explode rocks over there, a lot of them! This is our standing point! Now start building defences! Bombards, blade lotus, secure all of it with ramparts for protection as the Empire forces in Rhoad will spawn on high levels! Use the sanctuary to speed up the process! And if You ran out of gold use the artefacts You find from around Your Dungeon Core. Later the problem with Gold wont be a thing in Rhoad. Now brake the walls and let the traps do all the defending! Remember thought to deal with the patrols that have already pass this death point! So send in the minions and beasts to hunt them down!
Now when the situation is safe send Your ember demons to the defence point so they will lure the empire forces in to the death trap! This is how You do achievement Rhoadblock. Sooner or later Lord Coleem will spawn! Kill him before He will exit Rhoad the traps should be able to Deal with him! That will solve Nature’s Call achievement.
The last one When I Was a Young WartHoG achievement, is more tricky. Its luck base! Find all the artefacts and secure them! After You do so remember which one contains the Colossus the main object of Mission two in Heart of Gold. Now unlock the other once in one of them You should find Porkzilla!
