Welcome everybody! To Let's Play DOOM 4, part 2. Mission 2 Resource Operations also know as Know Your enemy! After a lovely introduction in of the game and dying a few times on Nightmare difficulty in DOOM 4 It’s time to take on daddy's pants and show them who they should really fear! We get in to the first room and Learn from Vega who Aperently is an artificial intelligence of this Mars Base that he located challenges that if fulfil will increase our Predator Armor potential, a type of increasing Your stats in the New DOOM game. So what else to do then just take care of that as we progress in killing every single demon there will stand on our way in DOOM! The Nightmare difficulty will punish You greatly for allowing to be hit so the key once again is to jump and jump much. Stay in move no matter what. If You stop You die, if You hesitate to kill You Die.
Before we progress in the facility we need to turn on back Power in the control room we meet our first I belive main enemy, Olivia. Apparently she is responsible for opening the Hell Gate in new DOOM. Well She will learn soon enough that was a very bad idea to have the DOOM guy around and open the gate at the same time. After returning the Power back to the base we find a little secret on theceiling. So worth checking for some bonus armor! Always useful especially on Nightmare difficulty in DOOM. As we progress deeper and deeper in to this section of the Base in Resource Collecting. We also acquire a new toy for us to play with! The Chainsaw! Its weapon in DOOM will alow for almost instant kill any Demon but also give a large boost in ammunition for our DOOM Guy! But thery are bad sides of using it. First of all we need to get close in order to use the chain saw, the other is the chain saw have limited ammunition! Only three and the Fuel is not that common to find in DOOM.
As we progress we also find out a new type of boost in our gameplay in DOOM! The Berserker mode, this thing will change our DOOM guy in to even more of a walking machine of death then he normally is! AS You can just punch demons to death. Yes You read right PUNCH them! Instant killing and reaping there faces of the heads! Gore, Yes. Is it worth it ? HELL YEAH! There is not such thing like too little destruction In DOOM games. I also have discovered another weapon drone. This guy will give upgrades for the weapons You use in DOOM. Each weapon have modes and You can swap in them at wish. The Shotgun have two modifications to itself. One is a big burst of damage counting as three shots in one the other one is to change the Shotgun in DOOM in to a medium range granate launcher! A bit more powerful then the standard frag granate used by the DOOM guy. In the end we have the possibility to talk with DR. Hayden It is hard to say what that Thing is right now. It modifies not the suit but the DOOM guy himself ? Infusing him with demonic powers ? Is this the thing they have been extracting from the very deeps of Hell ? All for this mess just for some overhyped boost ? Well on Nightmare it’s always good to have more help so let’s make a deal with the devil himself and agree to help him solve this mess. We will have time to Deal with Hayden later In DOOM.
