Since the Farming update in Subnautica the Seamoth is no longer a standard blueprint in the vehicle construction bay. So we need to look for its fragments around the ocean in Subnautica, Searching the Bloodgrass or Grassy Plateaus Today!

Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Season 3, Part 2! Today we will be doing something different then normal in Subnautica! The Last time When I was searching for the seamoth fragments in #subnautica was way back in the farming update. Now in the Power Nap update a few things have changed. For example the Seamoth fragments is not such a common thing around! The Seamoth sould spawn around the large wrecks of the Aurora but they are way more scattered around then they where before. SO today we will be searching the ocean to find Seamoth fragments.
For start You need proper equipment! You can’t just go in naked to find the fragments. You need to have minimum two air tanks, a seaglide is also very helpful as it will increase the speed of travel, and don’t worry to overmake batteries as You will need a lot of them anyway later on in the game! For making the Power Cells for example – also a side note when You will be searching for the Seamoth fragments look for the batter charger aswell! You will need it soon as the seaglide eats way more energy then the seamoth. Another thing You may need is a radiation suit! However You won’t need it if You won’t go close to the aurora after the explosion but then again there is a Grassy Plateaus near the Aurora to its left side and there may be some fragments over there to acquire not only the seamoth but also the cannons and the battery charger and You will need the suit anyway later on in the game to venture inside the ship. You will also of course need the scanner so You can acquire the Seamoth fragments for constriction and take a knife just in case. The Grassy Plateaus is full and I say FULL of sand sharks that will gladly try to bite Your face off the body and head and direct combat with them is not advice but You may want to defend yourself from only only the Sand shark when searching for the Seamoth fragments in the deeps of Subnautica but also the bitters that swim around in packs. Battery do not forget those! As the seaglide as I said eat energy a lot! Flippers just in case the seaglide will ran out of energy and You will have to move a little bit faster. Optional items are some peepers, water and first aid kits.
While searching for the Seamoth fragments focus on finding the large Aurora wrecks and search around them, tho sometimes the Seamoth fragments may be found around the Grassy Plateaus in the tall red grass! So keep Your eyes open. It may be easier to spot them while at night as the Seamoth fragments use to shine in the moon light. So going close to the grass would be a good idea but avoid sand clouds if You see one there may be a sand Shark nearby and he will be faster then You if You won’t use the seaglide! So put that thing on the Action bar!
