Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Season 3, Part 1! We are back to the wonderful world of #subnautica. Full of monsters, water, darkness and some things can that eat You in one bite but also poison or bite – all the good stuff in Subnautica.
For beginning I wish to quickly restart everything! Build a new base in Subnautica Check the old locations like the flooderisland or the Aurora mushroom forest, Kelp Forest and the red grass plateau.
While we restart Subnautica, we need to once again search for the old fragments. Like the seamoth fragment. It did’t change since the farming update in Subnautica. Still the Seamoth is destroy around in large fragments no the white boxes. So dive In to the red grass and search for it. As You are at it You can also gather the Battery charger if You will need more details on it. Please check the previous episode of Subnautica where I did cover it! As we acquire the Battery charger and the seamoth fragments its time to move back to the base in Shallow waters and make us one! With it it will be easier to search for the new moonpool fragment location. Which is in the mushroom forest. Yes You heard me right, the moonpool fragments no longer spawn in the grand reef but in the mushroom forest and around it so its way easier to acuity aquire the MoonPool, Last time in subnautica if You wanted to get that blueprint You needed to have some basic knowledge of Subnautica or where to dive to a certain level of the sea till pressure will destroy Your seamoth as without the moonpool You can’t upgrade Your seamoht! But worry not, in the Aurora there was also a little update. Now in it You can find a simple pressure compressor modification for the Seamoth which will add some very useful meters to the depth level! And with it searching for the MoonPool will be even more easy! If You wan’t You can also search for the Powercell charger but the problem with it is that before making the Cyclops its kinda useless as You can charge the Seamoth in the MoonPool but again if You want to travel far and want to have a backup power cell just in case to return back to Your base in Subnautica then yes, it will be more useful. Another importing thing that have changed in Subnautica in Powernap update is that at some point during the beginning of Subnautica Your character all the sudden will receive a signal in his backpack! It happens around day four in Subnautica. And will lead You to the Heat signature somewhere near Your starting location. The Aurora itself expect for the pressure does not have any new updates. I tried to use the fire extinguish in order to put out the fires on the Aurora. I didn’t actuly thought was it possible or not or can I even refuel the fire Extinguisher All I know I may have wasted something here or misses something to actully put down the fires in the Aurora. Maybe in future updates of Subnautica ? The black box from the Aurora is still missing and the character can’t read it so I do wonder will there ever be additional levels to venture in to the Aurora. The ship is quite big in Subnautica and should have a level or more to explore.
