WARS CHANGED in New 1.4.1 Beta Hotfix EXPLAINED! (Discussion) - Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
Early Game to End Game Kingdom Management Info & Tips - https://youtu.be/N0-Jdij3_YA
FULL SCRIPT:
Today we received yet another hotfix, the devs have had enough of all the
complaints and have brought out patch hammer.
Like i stated in another hotfix video yesterday, the devs stated that there
will be more hotfixes to be released before the next big beta and move to
live because there are significant problems that need to be fixed.
If you want to check out all the recent hotfixes and their impact, i will
link my prievious videos below:

Now these fixes are actually huge for the game and solve the infamous war
problem that everyone who is playing on 1.4.1 is experiencing.
Devs do state that some of these are temporary changes. I believe they this
due to backlash from the community over the game being unplayable.
The problem was once you start your own kingdom, every kingdom in the world
decides declare war with you immediately.
Now lets get into the changes:
- Fixed an issue where the player would see extra policies as a mercenary of
a kingdom.
Good overall fix, sometimes you would get really random and bad policies and
then the mercenary contract would be useless.
- "Leave Kingdom" button was disabled for player rulers because of possible
crashes. This is a temporary change, probably until the big patch.
If this does make the game stable, i do not see a huge problem, most people
who start kingdoms do not back out because there is no better alternative
anyways.
- 20 day truce period is back! This is a huge change and will help fix
the war problem in a big way. AI kingdoms will now not even consider
declaring war until 20 days of peace is over. There is still a lot that needs
to be done with the current war situation, but this is a great start!
- Fixed an issue where players would be stuck after accepting peace during a
siege. This has happened to me twice, both time all i did was save and then
reload that save. Good to see it fixed.
That is the hotfix and all the current changes as of earlier today.
The devs also replied to a person asking if the AI takes into account what
kingdom the player is currently in.
The devs replied stating that the whole diplomacy model does not take in to
account what kingdom a player is a part of, but the devs stated they will
take a look into the code to see if anything has changed.
Lastly i am going to end this video in the same way i ended most of these
hotfix update videos, i want to thank the developers for staying active and
bringing good changes. Its an early access game, do not expect the beta branch
of the game to be stable, it is a beta branch meant for play testing and
reporting.
If you would like to play in a stable environment, please play on the stable
live patches of the game.
I have a video on how to revert to a stable patch, link will be down below
if you wish to change back -

Hopefully this was informative, ask me any question and stay safe!
