First of all, if you ARE new to the Zelda series/fandom, I think I can speak for the entire community when I say we welcome you with open arms.

The Legend of Zelda series consists of games with various elements, such as puzzle solving, action, adventure, combat and exploration. You're bound to find two or three Zelda games you'll fall in love with.

In this video in particular, I talk about whether Skyward Sword HD would be an intelligent purchase for you. If your first game was BoTW and you loved the open world aspect, Skyward Sword may disappoint in delivering more of that open world goodness. But for what it lacks in exploration, it compensates in its music, story, characters and combat.

I fully advise you give SS HD a go. It's a fantastic Zelda title.
