After a troubling encounter with Damien and realizing he needs information from him, Aiden goes to Lena's grave and remembers a previous visit with Nicole. Jordi alerts Aiden that a gang member, Raul Lionzo, who knows Aiden's identity, is in jail and likely to share it. Aiden interrogates Lance Brenner with Jordi's help and learns that Angelo Tucci plans to get Aiden's identity from Lionzo. Aiden manipulates Tucci's niece Helena to track Tucci down and kills him before he can kidnap Lionzo. To prevent Lionzo from exposing his identity, Aiden collaborates with Jordi to secretly enter the Palin Correctional Center where Lionzo is held. Aiden pretends to surrender himself, but is able to escape once he is placed in a cell without his weapons, thanks to a corrupt guard owed by Jordi. Aiden hacks the prison's security systems as he navigates through it, ultimately finding Lionzo in the exercise yard. However, corrupt guards take Lionzo to the basement where they beat him and demand to know Aiden's identity. Aiden manages to incapacitate the guards and warns Lionzo that revealing his identity will result in a longer prison sentence. Aiden retrieves his equipment and escapes from the prison. After the prison escape, Aiden reluctantly meets with Damien, who contacts him. Instead of meeting in person, Damien hacks into the TVs in Nicole's kitchen to communicate with Aiden. Aiden becomes furious and goes to Nicole's house to confront Damien. During their altercation, Aiden learns that Damien has kidnapped Nicole and threatens to kill her unless Aiden retrieves a hard drive that will lead them to another hacker. Damien gives Aiden a hard drive with information from his investigation and leaves. Aiden is worried about his nephew, Jackson, so he tracks his tablet's signal and helps him escape from people chasing him. They both get on a train and Aiden arranges for Jackson's therapist to take care of him temporarily. Aiden receives a clue from Jackson about Nicole's location and hacks into the CTOS center to find information on a boat restoration facility owned by Robert Racine. Aiden breaks into the facility and overhears a conversation between Racine and Damien, but Racine doesn't have any useful information. Aiden kills Racine and argues with Damien, who refuses to let Aiden speak to Nicole. Aiden returns to his motel room and finds a corrupted video on the flashdrive Damien gave him. Frustrated, he points a gun at Clara when she enters the room, but then asks for her help with the video. Clara discovers that the file is permanently corrupted and they need the original. Aiden shows Clara the IP address Damien gave him and explains his situation. Hearing car screeches, Aiden stops Clara from leaving and they hide as armed men shoot at them. Aiden detonates explosives in his room to destroy evidence and defends Clara as she escapes. Aiden kills the attackers and Clara calls him to arrange a meeting at a dock. Damien mocks Aiden and refuses to let him speak to Nicole until he gets results. Aiden has lost his base and equipment, but Clara tells him about the Bunker, a hidden place where his activities can't be detected. Aiden discovers that a man named Tobias Frewer knows how to control the bridge to the Bunker. Clara explains that Tobias used to work for Blume and directs Aiden to his crafting shop. They find the shop locked, but Aiden manages to track Tobias through a phone conversation and joins an illegal poker game where Tobias is present. Aiden chases and tackles Tobias, threatening him with his own gun. Tobias reveals that the Bunker lacks power and gives Aiden the remote to its bridge. He tells Aiden to visit his shop if he needs anything and leaves. After discovering that Maurice shared information with Jordi, Aiden activates the bridge to the Bunker and restores power to the island by activating three generators located there. Aiden and Clara then travel to the Bunker disguised as a shipping container and agree to keep its existence a secret until Aiden finishes his investigation. Working together, they restore power to the Bunker and bring it back online. Clara traces the IP address to Rossi-Fremont, the district controlled by the Black Viceroys .
