5Kochi Prefecture will be cloudy on the 16th due to the influence of humid air, with heavy rain expected in some areas from the afternoon into the evening. There are also reports of thunderstorms in some areas of the plains.
Morning minimum temperatures are expected to be high, particularly in the plains, with tropical nights of over 25°C in some areas. While daytime maximum temperatures are likely to be extremely hot in fewer areas, they will likely be midsummer temperatures of over 30°C in both the plains and mountainous areas. Caution is advised against heatstroke, day and night.
