Kochi Prefecture will be mostly sunny on the 19th due to the high pressure system, but humid air and sunlight will bring rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Heavy rain is expected in some areas from the afternoon through the evening.

Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to be high in both the plains and mountainous areas. Motoyama Town is expected to reach a scorching 35°C. Please make sure to drink plenty of fluids and take breaks in the shade.

High pressure is likely to result in many sunny days over the next week, but the weather will remain changeable, especially in the afternoons. Temperatures will not drop at night in the plains, so caution is needed to avoid heatstroke both day and night.
