The voice is the one of the most direct mediums to communicate with players and get an emotional or logical response. It is also such an easy way to create characters. On the other hand nobody likes game characters who never shut up. How do we make voices that are memorable but not annoying? These are the subjects I will cover in my talk.Benjamin McCulloch has edited and recorded dialogue for games, film and television including projects that have won an award at Cannes as well as Bafta and Emmy nominations for sound. Originally from Scotland he’s now based in Brno, Czechia.
