12Our first non-Englishman in our Brits abroad is John Charles, one of the greatest players in the English league history, but one that spent the majority of the peak of his career in Italy, at Juventus, as part of a hugely successful side in the 1950s and 60s, leaving before Leeds’ peak in the Old First Division. Considered the best player in Welsh football history, could Charles have been more successful on British shores?
