Cuphead developers Studio MDHR have been pretty quiet on the development of their new DLC, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course ever since its delay back in late 2020. Rumours have swirled about The Delicious Last Course being a full standalone sequel and questions have been asked about whether a Cuphead 2 is in the works following this expansion. But while the video game front of Cuphead is looking a bit dry and its future seems muddy, the Cuphead IP is stronger now than ever, with a new comic coming out soon, a couple of novels, The Cuphead Show! on the horizon, and even a brand new museum exhibit.

While I wanted to explore the possibilities of a Cuphead 2 and roughly what to expect from the Delicious Last Course, I also wanted to touch on all these recent and upcoming projects since they're all of a pretty high quality and are pretty perfect for fans of the show who want to see more from the franchise. I'd consider myself a pretty big fan of Cuphead and I learned about a lot of stuff that I'd never heard of till now in the past few days while making this, so I wanted to share some of this stuff with you in order to give a clearer picture of where the future lies with this character.
