What's Your Favorite Famicom Disk System Game (@GameDadShow Response)
Our good friend Kris over at @Gamedadshow recently asked what gamers favorite game for the Nintendo Famicom Disk System was. While I could have gone with an easy one, Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, I decided to go with another favorite I still mispronounce bue always love playing. Let's take a look at Konami's Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa as it's one of my favorites on the system.
Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa: A Hidden Gem on the Famicom Disk System
Dive into the whimsical world of Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa, a charming and challenging platformer released exclusively for the Famicom Disk System in 1988 by Konami. Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa is a 1988 platformer released by Konami for the Famicom Disk System. The game follows the adventures of a baby named Upa, who must rescue his kingdom from the evil Zai. Upa's primary weapon is a magical rattle, which can inflate enemies and turn them into platforms or projectiles. The game features colorful graphics, charming music, and creative level designs. While it was initially only released in Japan, it was later made available in North America and Europe via the Wii Virtual Console in 2008, and Baby Upa also stared in Wai Wai World 2 for the Famicom.
Game Features:
Join baby Upa on his quest to rescue his kingdom from the clutches of the evil Zai!
Gameplay: Witness Upa's unique ability to inflate enemies with his rattle and use them as platforms or projectiles.
Level Design: Traverse through vibrant and imaginative worlds filled with quirky characters and clever obstacles.
Whether you're a retro gaming enthusiast or a newcomer to the Famicom Disk System, this is one of the best platformers on the system, and I truly think you'll love it if you try it!
