The Fruit basket is one of the few useful toys in the game. It allows you to tag mobs from range on melee characters who might not have reliable ranged attacks or just only has ranged attacks on cooldowns or something. So with a low CD of only 10 seconds, and a decent range of about 30 yrds, its worth it to have it on the action bars while leveling with certain melee characters. But, you cannot use the fruit basket toy in raids.
