Wild Gunman - (NES) - Gameplay
4Today is the 35th Anniversary of the US release of the Nintendo - NES. We continue our series of videos on the original NES launch titles with our third installment - 'Wild Gunman'. Wild Gunman is a light gun shooter game, originally created as an electro-mechanical arcade game in 1974. It was adapted to a video game format on an arcade cabinet and light gun. When this enemy character's eyes flash, the player draws and fires the gun. If the player is fast enough, the projection changes to that of the shot gunman falling down; otherwise it shows the gunman drawing and firing his gun. A victorious player continues on to face off against several more gunslinger opponents.
This is another game that has no true ending. It simply keeps getting more and more difficult until the player loses. Thus, this is not a true walkthrough but rather a video showcasing the three different modes of gameplay.
