This video demonstrates how to determine your processor architecture.

1. Open the Run dialog or pressing Windows+R key
2. Type "cmd.exe /k echo %processor_architecture%" (without quotes)
3. Press Enter or hit OK button

If it says x86, you have 32-bit operating system.
If it says AMD64, you have 64-bit operating system running on Intel and AMD x64 processor.
If it says IA64, you have 64-bit operating system running on Intel Itanium-based x64 processor.
