Word Rescue | Part 7: Learned My Lesson
0And that lesson is "trust in the timer." Just because I think I'm getting close to the end of an episode, or the game itself, doesn't mean I should just keep going when my timer tells me it's time to stop the recording. That's how you end up with nearly forty minutes of footage that you have to awkwardly split into two separate videos. Hopefully, I'll remember that the next time I sit down to record something like this.

Word Rescue is a side-scrolling action platformer released in 1992 for DOS PCs. A sequal, titled Word Rescue Plus, was released in 1998. The games are educational, designed to teach children how to both read and spell written words.
Horrible creatures called Gruzzles have decided that since they can't read, nobody else should either. They've stolen all of the words from books all across the world, and it's up to you - with the help of Benny the Bookworm and his buckets of slime - to steal them back!
