[World Record] UV Respawn Speedrun of TNT Map 13 in 3:14 {No Comment}
3The opening screen is incorrect: this is MAP13, not MAP11.
A decent run. Could probably be optimized a lot more. The movement was flawed as I frequently got blocked by monsters and closing doors. Also I feel that the use of rockets is terrible, but had no idea on how to use them better.
Anyway, in this run I decided to use the route that [Xit Vono, 2002] mentioned in his text file, by grabbing the super shotgun + invulnerability first, and then going to the blue key area. This meant that, by the time I got to the cyberdemon the invulnerability would end, which is risky since I had to stay a bit around the cyberdemon to make sure he would in-fight for the rest of the level (otherwise I wouldn't get 100% kills on time). Despite being riskier, this strategy proved to be quite faster.
I think that going below 3 minutes is possible, with more strategy and route optimizations, and some luck.
