Summary: Ok we finally made it to the beastmen's lair, I paused or stalled a few times just so people could listen to the great background music. ;)

Story: Myself and our rogue Kleptica was ambivalent to crossing that first bridge, but once we made it across and bypassed the Hill Giant and his pets, we made headway into further exploring the region beyond. As we made our way north we came across a most curious plain completely engulfed in flames! We was none to hasty to attempt to tread there just yet, not even our reckless leader Sir Kulation wanted to test his luck with it, perhaps later.

A short distance to the north we discovered a cave hidden behind a bush against the cliff wall, as we made our way in, we was greeted by giant wielding a great sword of flame and quickly retreated, perhaps later for it as well but not this day. Finally as we reached what appeared to be end of the valley, we found a series of caves neatly carved into the cliff side. At last we had found the Beastmen's Lair! We explored each in earnest, finding trinkets and treasures one might find in a museum in our world.

I can not even speculate as to how this is even possible, but nevertheless, as we probed the last few lairs, we was attacked by a shaman, a larger more intelligent beastman, perhaps their chieftan? Most curious was the bronze skinned woman we encountered further in, as she was not of their species, most out of place, and most curious indeed. Our path was blocked further in by heavy vines, we will have to report these findings to Marmillian post haste! - Arkane

Tips:

1# The plain of fire you pass on the way to the Beastmen's lair, you will return to later, it is important.

2# The cave with the fire giant further north of the plain of fire, is one if not the best and easiest/quickest way to level in this game. If you have access to the spell WEB or Light/Darkness *forget which* you can render him helpless thus quick easy exp. Enter, kill him, exit, rinse and repeat. ;)

3# Lastly, I don't recall if its level based, or progression based, think its based on your level. But every so often check the shops in the city, they re-stock and upgrade every so often.
