Wyrd Ways - Atari ST (Gameplay / Let's Play)
5Have you ever come across a game which is so different to anything that you've seen before? Well for this I'd like to introduce Wyrd Ways; a turned based strategy game for the ST made in 1993.
The simple objective is to defeat all of your rivals on the screen, but you can only kill them once you have collected all six parts of your equipment. Now on each move you are given the ability to move your character and you can add a new portion of the wall to the stage which can either block your opponent's passage or help your own cause. The moving around of the level is a really interesting concept that works wonderfully and offers a great deal of replay value.
It's a public domain release, so don't expect to find a copy on ebay, I got mine as a free copy on a magazine cover back in the day.
