ElGato rec. SSGL here back at it with the BB units. However, we trade places in this larger 8v8 with 150 troops available. I take a look at it's abilities. Vid timeline:

(0:00) Intro.

(9:29) Match begins.

We play as:

First player: BB-9E.
Blaster: N/A. Shock Prod.
Abilities: Smoke Screen, Shock Spin, Charge Up.
Boost Cards: Full Reconstruction, Hearty Exhaust, I See You.
Passive Abilities: Health on Elimination, Technical Support, Bacta Support.

Second player: BB-8.
Blaster: N/A. Shock Prod.
Abilities: Resistance Backing, Cable Spin, Rolling Charge.
Boost Cards: Whirlwind, Spinner, Roll Together.
Passive Abilities: Health on Elimination, Technical Support, Swift Reaction.

First things first, BB-8's Shock Prod does not stun. Instead, it does more damage.

Resistance Backing has a radar instead of a visual impairment impairment effect on opponents like BB-9E's Smoke Screen. In addition to this scramble, enemies are revealed to me and allies. But the kicker here is that if I'm attacked (as in revealed enemies who inflict damage on me), such enemies will receive increased damage. I'm assuming from my weapons only.

This is the type of effect I tend to forget during gameplay/in the heat of battle since it sounds unusual to me. Not the type of thing I would expect from a scanning ability.

Fortunately, Cable Spin and Rolling Charge are pretty much what they sound. The former can be upgraded with no trade off, unlike BB-9E's Shock Spin which produces a longer recharge time. Yikes!

That said, the first two Star Cards that I choose where Whirlwind (increases both damage and area of effect), Spinner (reduces the next Ability's recharge if I hit multiple targets). This two cards heavily reinforce the Cable Spin, with no trade off, turning BB-8 into a monster!

Seeing our own vid, I was able to notice the manner in which Spinner works: once the Ability expires (or when I turned it off before so), it's related icon already starts off partially charged.

Lastly, I picked Roll Together. On the vid, I gave the impression such a card would cause my Abilities to recharge faster. But no. It simply cools down the Shock Prod faster so that I could be used more often.
