Hello again.
Today I give you, Watchers and Commenters, a small episode about capturing the enemy VIP. Yup, that's how short it is.
What is actually more important is that we get to see how truly and geniunely scary Terminal's smile is, what weird woman with expressions being similar to being high on something controls City 31's Police Department and, as I promised, Whisper actually displaying my thoughts about the episode's mission on episode's cover.

Hi again, my personal diskspace! This entire week was a really intense one so that’s why I’m writing this thing only today.
So, we, being XCOM, are expected to perform the final cleaning duty concerning the aliens. As I dare to say that without Ethereals and Chosen around this is actually quite easy.
In fact, I’m going to talk about this in detail. Our little cleaning up is way too trivial. In several previous days we captured more aliens than killed. Aiming to extract valuable information about ADVENT’s regime, along with capturing more ADVENT tech, has become our priority now that the aliens surrender themselves and go into custody. It is really weird to see some mutons and snakes just laying their weapons down and proceeding to prison camps. What is even more weird is that ADVENT guns are free to use for everyone. I remember them self-destructing – but now they don’t. And the code locks have been hacked – the Resistance have a lot of new toys for them.
The brutality in the world has risen with the Ethereal downfall. Reapers became even more unhinged, preying on the aliens in broad daylight. I’ve been on a mission with Salmon Grain and Killian Walsh today and explicitly saw one of Reapers eating a deceased muton’s brains. Damn it, guys, if you so want to humiliate our enemies with eating them, do it out of sight of regular citizens. And I’m not joking – I did see some teenagers staring at that feasting Reaper.
A disgusting sight really. Makes me wonder if we are actually the bloodthirsty barbarians the Ethereals portrayed us.
There’s also one Resistance commander by the name of Jane Kelly hanging around our base being spotted. I know quite little about her, but it looks like John does respect the woman. She does give me the creeps though, and about our whole future really.
So that was the week for me.
Oh yes, that note from before… It was Nicoletta’s note. We actually went for a walk on a beach where the Avenger was stationed. At the long last we had a more relaxed conversation while observing the surroundings… She also was quite a bit more happy to see me than usually.
Not gonna lie – I was quite happy to be near her as well. Maybe this does mean something for me in the times to come?
I will find out. For now, though, I’ve gotta go. I’m just really tired after running around.
